It’s really sad I have to discover Vic’s music only after (and because) he is gone. I’d never heard of him either and I’ve been dabbling in folk-rock/alt-country music for quite a while, plus I’m a freakin quad. His music is a cross between Zappa and Guthrie.
If you listen to the Terry Gross interview. You just know he’s gonna do it. There was the distinct sound of real fear/concern in her voice. I’m sure she wasn’t a bit surprised.
