Check out the amazing dancer, Andrea Jerabek, a lifelong dancer and recent amputee (who opted to have it amputated in 2005 after being born with a deformed foot), who incorporates her wheelchair and creates the most beautiful lines you’ve ever seen.
In case you were dying to know, the diversity glass ceiling was broken in the leather-bound S&M world last May, when Tyler McCormick, a wheelchair-user from New Mexico, won the title of International Mr. Leather 2010. Here she is! Ms. Wheelchair America 2011 was crowned Saturday night and the title goes to 22 year old Alexandra McArthur, a lovely young woman with Muscular Dystrophy. Diagnosed as a child, she’s been using a wheelchair for 3 years now, and is still getting used to the “wheelchair image.”
